TWO JUVENILES ARRESTED FOR YUCCA VALLEY BURGLARY

Two juveniles were arrested late Monday night, accused of breaking into a Yucca Valley home. According to a Sheriff’s report, the home’s owner, who was in Newport Beach, called the Sheriff’s Department just after 10 p.m. to report that he has video of two people on his home’s surveillance camera entering his home, and he could hear their voices. Deputies responding to the call determined two juveniles entered the home in the 7400 block of Elk Trail by breaking a window. After an investigation, deputies located the two juveniles with property stolen from the home, which was returned to the homeowner. The boy and girl were arrested on suspicion of burglary and booked in to juvenile hall.
