Two Joshua Tree women were arrested Saturday after they were discovered fleeing from a cabin that had been burglarized. According to a Sheriff’s report, the owner of a cabin in the 4900 block of Nucham Avenue in Joshua Tree drove up about 4:30 p.m. and saw two suspects leave her cabin in a vehicle, and drive into a wash at the south end of the street. The owner called a friend who watched for the suspects to come out of the wash on Benji Avenue. When deputies arrived they arrested Michele Rice, 43, and Jenny Millard, 34, for investigation of burglary. Michele Rice and Jenny Millard were booked into the Morongo Basin Jail. They were both released early Sunday morning after posting $25,000 bail.
