TWO JOSHUA TREE MEN HELD FOR BURGLARIZING MULTIPLE HOMES

Two Joshua Tree men were arrested Friday, accused of burglarizing homes in Joshua Tree. According to a Sheriff’s press release, deputies were called to the 62000 block of Desert Air Road in Joshua Tree shortly before 3 by a neighbor who saw two men force their way into a home, and then leave carrying property from the home. The investigation led deputies to the 62000 block of Bonair Road where they contacted Casey Roberts, 25, and Jeffrey Thomas, 28, along with property that had been reported stolen from the Desert Air address. In addition, evidence at the scene linked Thomas to another burglary in the 62000 block of Desert Air. Casey Roberts and Jeffrey Thomas were arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $25,000 each. Also arrested at the Bonair Road residence were Toni Cagle, 30, for $60,000 in warrants, and Donovan Hayes, 45, for a no-bail warrant. Both were booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
