TWO JOSHUA TREE MEN ARRESTED FOR NUMEROUS BURGLARIES

Two Joshua Tree men were arrested early Wednesday morning, accused of breaking into multiple vehicles in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 57200 block of Jarana Court called about 1:30 to report a vehicle burglary in progress. Arriving deputies learned that at least five vehicles had been burglarized. During the investigation, deputies located Casey Moses, 30, and Kenneth Redwood, 31, in a vehicle on Jarana Court. Inside the vehicle were drug paraphernalia, stolen property, burglary tools, and an unspecified weapon. Casey Moses was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000. Kenneth Redwood was arrested for investigation of conspiracy to commit a crime, theft, giving a false identity to a police officer, and on a warrant from Washington state. He was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and is being held without bail.
