TWO HELD AFTER FIGHT AT APPLEBEE’S

Two Yucca Valley men were arrested late Sunday night following a fight at Applebee’s in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman called deputies shortly before 8 p.m. to report that her former boyfriend, Nathan Brown, 29, threatened to come to her house in the 49500 block of Mojave Drive in Morongo Valley with a loaded shotgun and shoot whomever came to the door. Deputies were unable to locate Brown. Then shortly before 10 p.m., the report states the woman’s current boyfriend, Andrew Anderson, 31, located Brown at the Applebee’s restaurant and started to punch him. Witnesses told deputies that Anderson pulled out a knife and tried to stab Brown and a bystander who had tried to break up the fight. After an investigation, Andrew Anderson was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000. Nathan Brown was arrested for investigation of making terrorist threats, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000. Both men will be arraigned today.
