On Saturday and Sunday, November 5 and 6 explore the natural history of Joshua trees and their plant communities at a free two-day workshop.
Learn to conduct community science fieldwork from speakers such as Cameron Barrows, Chris Smith, and Todd Esque. The workshop and community science fieldwork will directly contribute to data on existing Joshua tree sites, their health, age, associated plant communities and migration trends. Finish with newfound knowledge of these unique species and understanding of the intricate fragility of desert ecosystems.
