LifeStream will conduct two community blood drives on Tuesday, May 24. The first blood drive will be at Hi-Desert Water District in Yucca Valley, from 9 to 2, and then at Little Church of the Desert, 6079 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms, from 2 to 6. Donors will receive incentives. O-negative blood is especially needed. In addition, Desert Blood Services now offers donors free cholesterol screening with every blood donation.
