The next exhibition at the Joshua Tree Art Gallery will feature the works of Tom Birkner and Cat Celebrezze. Birkner’s “Wheel of Fortune” is a portrait of the world, contrasting the fortunate who are wealthy with the unfortunate who struggle earning pennies a day. Celebrezze “The Binominal Distribution of My 17th Year” is an examination of the artist’s 17th year with 365 laminated and tiered windows featuring two important images from when the artist was 17: Ronald Reagan and Old Milwaukee beer, and other images from the artist’s 17th year. The opening reception is set for Saturday, November 10, at 6 p.m. The exhibition will be on display through December 3. JTAG is located at 61607 29 Palms Highway in downtown Joshua Tree.
