A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Saturday, accused of spouse abuse. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6100 block of Yucca Mesa Road about 9:30 p.m. Deanna Valdez, 45, and her boyfriend were arguing over money when the argument became physical. The report states Valdez and her boyfriend both had injuries, and conflicting stories about the fight. The deputy determined that Deanna Valdez was the dominant aggressor and she was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and was released Monday on $50,000 bail.
A Yucca Valley man was arrested Saturday, accused of beating up his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 57700 block of Junipero Road in Yucca Valley about 2 a.m. by a woman who said Steven Greene, 27, had punched her multiple times in her head and body. The deputy noticed her head had an abrasion and was red and swollen. Steven Greene was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
