TWO ARRESTED SQUATTING ON A 29 PALMS PROPERTY

Two people were arrested Saturday after they were found squatting on someone’s property in Twentynine Palms. About 8:30 Saturday morning, deputies were called to the 69300 block of El Sereno Road in Twentynine Palms by the property’s owner, who said that a man and a woman were living in a trailer on his property and he had never given anyone permission to live on his property. The deputy contacted Christle Hubert, 39, and Sean Clor, 43, at the location. Hubert told the deputy that a friend told her she could live in the trailer for $350 every three months. The deputy noticed that the door to the cabin and a storage container were open and that miscellaneous items were scattered on the ground. Hubert and Clor said they had entered both the cabin and the container because the doors were open. During the deputy’s search, drug paraphernalia and suspected black tar heroin were found. Christle Hubert and Sean Clor were arrested on suspicion of burglary and for Hubert’s multiple warrants, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with their bail set at $25,000 each.
