Two people were arrested Friday on drug charges following a traffic stop in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped a car near Borrego and Papago Trail in Yucca Valley about 10:15 a.m. Friday. Inside the car were David Bixon, and Chantel Fellows, 27. Bixon was arrested for investigation of possession of a controlled substance. Fellows was arrested on a warrant for her arrest, stemming from a guilty plea in 2011 to being under the influence of a controlled substance. Court records show that Fellows never completed the terms of her probation, and failed to appear at her court dates, with her bail continually raised to its current $500,000.
