A disagreement over mask-wearing resulted in the arrest of two people in Yucca Valley. Deputies were called to a medical clinic in the 7300 block of Church Street about 3:15 p.m. Monday for a fight in the parking lot. The altercation started when one woman was upset about someone’s mask. An older man kicked someone in the legs, and when another woman jumped in to help, her hair was pulled. Deputies say that FaithLynn Grant, 19, of Hesperia, threw a canned drink at the male victim and caused a laceration to the back of his head. FaithLynne Grant and Dylan Skelton, 19, of Yucca Valley, were arrested for investigation of assault, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $50,000 each.
