Two people were arrested Sunday, accused of burglary in Wonder Valley. According to a Sheriff’s press release, on March 20 deputies assigned to the Morongo Basin Station were dispatched to a burglary in progress on the 77800 block of Samarkand Drive in Wonder Valley. The suspects, identified as Morgan Burdette, 46 of San Jacinto, and Michael Polson, 29 of Hemet, allegedly had entered a cabin on the property via the front door. As they attempted to leave the property, their vehicle reportedly got stuck in the soft sand. The property owner returned home and saw the two suspects on his property and called law enforcement.
