Two people were arrested Sunday, after an attempted burglary in Twentynine Palms. According to Corporal Steve Everhart, Brittany Williams, 18, and Anthony Logan, 23, both of Twentynine Palms, knocked on the door of a residence in the 7000 block of Broad Avenue about 7:45 p.m.. When the resident didn’t answer the door, they broke a front window with a tire iron. When they discovered the resident was home, they fled in their vehicle. The resident was able to give police a good description of Williams and Logan and their vehicle, and deputies saw the vehicle as they responded to the call. After investigation, Brittany Williams and Anthony Logan were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. They were both booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $25,000 each.
