A Morongo Valley man didn’t take a break-up very well. When a woman told Sean Steiner, 45, at about 1 p.m. Wednesday that she didn’t want to see him anymore, he allegedly head butted her twice. The woman went to a neighbor’s home in the 6400 block of Goleta Avenue Wednesday to ask for help. After an investigation, Sean Steiner was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
A Joshua Tree woman was arrested Wednesday, accused of beating up her boyfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Mickala Pratt, 23, began arguing with her boyfriend at about 4:30 p.m. The man told deputies that Pratt slapped, bit, and pulled his hair during the altercation, and that she also bit her other roommate. After an investigation, Mickala Pratt was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
