Two people were arrested Thursday after they were found with a stolen vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 7500 block of Sherman Hoyt Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 7 a.m. after a resident found two license plates in the bushes. The responding deputy found the stolen vehicle the license plates belonged to at a home in the 7400 block of Kellogg Avenue. At the home were Julia Tucker, 34, of Hesperia, and Craig Carter, 45, of Twentynine Palms. The deputy allegedly found a shaved key among Carter’s possessions, and Tucker allegedly admitted to driving the stolen vehicle. Julia Tucker and Craig Carter were arrested for investigation of possession of a stolen vehicle and booked into West Valley Detention Center with bail set at $50,000 each.
