TWO ARRESTED FOR DRUGS AND A WARRANT IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

Two Twentynine Palms men were arrested Wednesday morning, one accused of various drug charges, and the other on a warrant. According to Sheriff’s Deputy Armando Cantu, deputies served a search warrant on a home in the 72000 of Sunnyslope Drive in Twentynine Palms about 8:20 a.m. During the search, deputies found methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, prescription medications, and evidence of drug sales. Max Deiser, 52, was subsequently arrested for investigation of illegal drug sales, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000. A second man, Kyle Steady, 29, was found hiding in an RV trailer on the property. He was arrested for an active arrest warrant for forgery, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held without bail.
