TWO ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY IN YUCCA VALLEY

Two people were arrested, following a report of burglary in Yucca Valley on Wednesday (January 5). According to Sheriff logs, deputies were called to the 3600 block of Sage Avenue in Yucca Valley around 10 a.m. when the owner of the property was alerted by a neighbor that suspicious people were on the rental property.  Arriving deputies reported that they contacted David Beck, 45 of Yucca Valley, inside the residence stealing items and detained him without incident. Deputies also located Pricilla Trujillo, 46 of Joshua Tree, in the driver’s seat of a vehicle outside the residence and detained her without incident as well. Trujillo allegedly confirmed that Beck had entered the residence and came out carrying a speaker and that Beck had been at the residence in the past with others and broke into the house. After investigation, deputies concluded that both Trujillo and Beck did not have permission to be at the residence. Both Pricilla Trujillo and David Beck were arrested for investigation of burglary and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with their bail set at $25,000 each.
