Two people were arrested Thursday (December 9), accused of attempted burglary. On December 9, shortly before 8 a.m., deputies responded to a call on the 49100 block of Buena Vista Drive in Morongo Valley, after a homeowner reported that they saw two people attempting to enter their home via a live camera feed. After investigation, sheriff logs indicate that deputies located Jason Gieling, 47 of Yucca Valley, and Nicole Wilson, 30 of Desert Hot Springs, on the property. Jason Gieling was arrested for investigation of attempted burglary along with a $100,000 sheriff warrant and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $125,000. Nicole Wilson was arrested for investigation of attempted burglary and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $25,000.
