TWO ARRESTED FOR CARJACKING, SHOPLIFTING AT WALMART MONDAY

Two people were arrested at Walmart Monday afternoon after one of them attempted to steal a car following a shoplifting spree. According to a Sheriff’s report, Ricky McCool, 40, Trista Feskanich, and another unidentified woman went to Walmart and left the store with 27 items, valued at more than $300, concealed on their bodies and in the women’s purses. The report says McCool fled from deputies and unsuccessfully attempted to carjack a truck in front of Home Depot. When that failed, he continued to run, until he was captured by deputies. Trista Feskanich was detained by deputies as she left Walmart; the other woman remains unidentified. Ricky McCool was arrested for investigation of attempted carjacking and burglary. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $125,000.
