TWO ACCUSED OF POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY IN JOSHUA TREE

Two people were arrested in Joshua Tree Tuesday, accused of possession of stolen property. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim called the Sheriff’s Department about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday to report that a vehicle believed to belong to the suspects, Larissa Hutchinson, 24, and Gareth Hylla, 40, was at a residence in the 61600 block of Granada Drive in Joshua Tree. When deputies arrived at the Granada Drive address, they found Hutchinson and Hylla along with a 9-mm Smith and Wesson handgun. Larissa Hutchinson and Gareth Hylla were arrested on suspicion of being in possession of stolen property, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $10,000 each.
