Twentynine Palms Youth Council hosting food drive Saturday morning (3/14)

The City of Twentynine Palms Youth Council is hosting a community food drive this Saturday (March 14).
Youth Council members will be on-site collecting nonperishable food items to help stock the pantry and support local families in need. The drive is happening at the Twentynine Palms Grocery Outlet. Community members are encouraged to stop by and donate while doing their weekend shopping. Most-needed items include canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, mac n’ cheese, peanut butter, and jelly.
This marks the second year the Twentynine Palms Youth Council has organized a food drive for Feed 29, building on last year’s successful community effort.
The food drive is this Saturday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. outside Grocery Outlet, located at 71722 Twentynine Palms Highway in Twentynine Palms.
