A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Thursday, accused of trying to hit her boyfriend with a hammer. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim and the suspect, identified as Lisa Harbison, 51, had argued earlier in the day over relationship issues. The man went to go work on the swamp cooler in the back yard of the 72000 block of Manana about 9 a.m. when his Harbison came outside swinging a hammer and hit the swamp cooler with the hammer. The report indicates that the man felt intimidated and grabbed the hammer and threw it. Although Harbison denied trying to hit her boyfriend with the hammer, she was arrested for assault, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
