A Twentynine Palms woman who admitted to driving under the influence with her daughter in her car was arrested Tuesday, accused of child endangerment. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to a church in the 73300 block of Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms about 5 p.m. by a woman who said her husband had gone crazy and she had to leave. When the deputy arrived, the woman, later identified as Beatrice Damashek, 53, was obviously drunk, and she admitted to the deputy that she had drunk “90 proof Nyquil.” She also said she had driven with her young daughter in the car to the church and three other locations. Beatrice Damashek was arrested for investigation of child endangerment, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $100,000.
