TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN ARRESTED ON OVER A HALF MILLION IN WARRANTS

A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested on over half a million dollars in misdemeanor warrants Tuesday (April 13). Shortly before 6 p.m., deputies made a traffic stop on Berenice Corona, 42, near Adobe Road and Civic Center Drive in Twentynine Palms and discovered that she had eight different drug related misdemeanor warrants out for her arrest, totaling $675,000. Berenice Corona was subsequently arrested for her warrants and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
