A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested at Walmart Wednesday after she was found with stolen property. Deputies were called to Walmart about 11:20 where they contacted Melissa Whipple, 29. Whipple has a $250,000 arrest warrant for possession of a 2007 Mazda 6 in June 2015. During a search, stolen checks were found in her possession. Melissa Whipple was arrested on her warrant, and is being held at the Morongo Basin Jail.
