A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Thursday, after a business employee said the woman tried to break the store’s windows. According to Sheriff’s Deputy Dennis Tollefson, the woman, later identified as Jennifer Tomasello, 30, was at the AM/PM store located at 73434 29 Palms Highway about 2 p.m. The clerk said Tomasello was irate and was kicking, and throwing rocks at, the store’s windows. Although Tomasello left the scene before the deputy arrived, she was located a short distance away. During a probation search, two fixed-blade knives—one 11 inches and one 6 inches—were found in Tomasello’s purse. Jennifer Tomasello was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a concealed dirk or dagger, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $25,000. A no-bail probation violation hold was also placed on Tomasello for violating the terms of her probation following her guilty plea and sentence of 6 months in county jail in November 2015 to spousal abuse causing injury.
