A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested last week after getting in a fight with her roommate. Sherriff deputies were called about 1:30 p.m. to the 3900 block of Desert Heights Drive in Twentynine Palms on January 22 after Nancy Pugni, 62, reportedly approached her roommate with a knife and demanded his phone. When he did not give up his phone, Pugni pushed him onto his bed and attempted to take the phone herself, but the roommate continued to hold on to his phone and Pugni gave up and left the room. After the incident, Nancy Pugni was arrested for suspicion of attempted robbery and was booked at West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
