TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER THREATS WITH KNIFE, CAR

A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Sunday, accused of trying to assault people with a knife and a vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6400 block of Juniper Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a woman with a knife. The caller said Tanyalee Whiteside, 58, was trying to stab people and trying to run over people with her car. After an investigation, Tanyalee Whiteside was arrested on suspicion of spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
