A Twentynine Palms mother was arrested Sunday, accused of willful child endangerment after her and her three children were found living in deplorable conditions. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies responded to a welfare check on Sunday, February 24, at around 5:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of Monument Lane in Twentynine Palms. When the deputies arrived at the location, they discovered that the residence was occupied by Kathryn Conrado, 29, and her three minor children; ages 1, 9, and 10. Deputies reportedly located an overwhelming amount of animal feces and animal urine embedded in the carpet, bedding, and clothing; as well as trash and rotten food; throughout the residence. The Deputies determined that the children were living in an unsuitable and unsafe environment. Children and Family Service responded to the location and took custody of the three children. Kathryn Conrado was arrested for investigation of willful child endangerment and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $100,000.
