A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested early Tuesday morning, accused of assaulting her boyfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Katherine Walter, 31, and her boyfriend were drinking in the early morning hours when they began to argue about Walter’s drinking. The argument escalated, and Walter allegedly slapped and bit her boyfriend, who sustained injuries to his face and arms. Katherine Walter was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
