TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN ACCUSED OF DUI AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT

A Twentynine Palms woman was accused of child endangerment after being accused by the California Highway Patrol of allegedly driving drunk Wednesday afternoon. Goldie Carter, 34, was contacted by a CHP officer at about 5:15 p.m. near Lear Avenue and Old Chishold Trail in the Desert Heights area of Twentynine Palms. The officer determined that Goldie Carter was driving under the influence causing injury, and she was booked into the Central Detention Center early Thursday morning. An additional charge of child endangerment with injury was later added. Carter’s bail was set at $100,000.
