A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Sunday, accused of burglarizing a Twentynine Palms home five months earlier. On April 21, the 66-year-old resident of a home in the 6600 block of National Park Drive called deputies about 11 a.m. to say that someone had broken into his house through a bedroom window. Among the items stolen were a 38-special revolver, credit cards, and a checkbook. The victim discovered charges had been made at numerous businesses in Twentynine Palms. Following leads, deputies identified the suspect as Leutu “Doris” Sele, 42. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and about 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Doris Sele was arrested for investigation of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $100,000.
