The Varsity Wildcat Football team played great, but lost 6-20 to the Banning Broncos. The offense shined and played well. In his first start as a varsity Quarterback, freshman Bubba Corney led his offense up and down the field. Seniors Dylan Todd and Makahi Gardener ran the ball well setting up the wildcats offense with good field positioning. Though the Cats only found the end zone once, Coach Kole Green said their offense played great team football moving the ball and not giving up. On the defensive side of the ball, the Cats played tough causing 3 turnovers. A big turnover was an interception by senior Lucas moody returning it all the way to the opponent’s 10 yard line.
The Wildcats ultimately lost, but they fought all night long.
