The Twentynine Palms football team traveled to Desert Hot Springs last Friday for a Desert Valley League match up with the Eagles. The ’Cats came out victorious with a 69-6 score. Senior Chris Pacheco had 190 yards rushing with five touchdowns. Quarterback Carson Estrada threw for a touchdown and ran for another.
This was Coach TJ Stanford and his staff’s first victory together. Coach Stanford was very proud of the entire team for their resiliency after a loss last week. He would like to thank his coaching staff for all of their hard work. He would also like to thank parents for their support.
The ’Cats host Yucca Valley Friday, April 16, for the annual Battle Of The Bell at 7 p.m.
