Items of interest for this month’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Water District board of directors include a presentation of the draft 2018-20 fiscal year budget; discussion of the district’s revised organizational chart and job descriptions; discussion of federal funding for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program; and updates to the SMART program, a water district program designed to protect and conserve groundwater. This will be followed by routine items on the consent calendar and management reports. The
meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at district offices at 72401 Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
