Tonight’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Water District board will probably be short and sweet. On the agenda will be an approval of a resolution commending Roger Shinaver for eight years of distinguished service as a director of the Twentynine Palms Water District. Then the Board will review the three proposals for a compact excavator and award a bid to purchase said excavator. This will be followed by routine items on the consent calendar and management reports. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the District Office on the south side of Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
