Items of interest on the agenda for this week’s meeting include discussions on continuing the Water District’s current water-availability assessments for the fiscal year; supporting or opposing three new legislative bills that are relevant to the board; the possibility of implementing a required deposit for all customers in the event of nonpayment; and review and discussion of the general manager’s evaluation form. Routine consent calendar report will then be voted on and future agenda items will be discussed, followed by Director’s comments. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at their district offices at 72401 Hatch Rd in Twentynine Palms.
