The Twentynine Palms Water District is scheduled to have their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, January 28, starting at 6:00 p.m. At this meeting, the directors will continue the discussion on whether or not to raise water rates for customers and will take possible action on the matter. They will also discuss reserve policy recommendations. Immediately following this meeting is the Fire Department meeting. During this meeting, the Board will review the volunteer firefighter staffing and the stipend and reimbursement rates for the volunteer personnel. Both of these meetings take place at 72401 Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms and everyone is welcome to attend.
