The Twentynine Palms Water District will have a special meeting on Wednesday, October 22, starting at 4:00 p.m. The Board members will have a special workshop to discuss the proposed rate increases and take possible action. Following this meeting at 6:00 p.m., is the regularly scheduled meeting of the Water District. At this meeting, the Board will interview the applicants for the empty Board seat and then select an applicant to fill the spot. Immediately following this meeting is the Fire Department meeting. During this time, the Directors will approve the day of November 2 to be “Change your clock, change your battery” day. All of these meetings take place at the Twentynine Palms Water District at 72401 Hatch Rd in Twentynine Palms.
