TWENTYNINE PALMS WATER DISTRICT MAY APPOINT NEW MEMBER TONIGHT

The Twentynine Palms Water District board will convene in special session today at 6 p.m.  today. On the agenda, the board is expected to select a new director to finish out the term of Chancy Chambers who resigned last month.  Also tonight, the water board will consider revisions to the district’s policy on making purchases, and likely award a contract for a feasibility study related to chromium-6 to an outside vendor. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the District Office on the south side of Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
