TWENTYNINE PALMS WATER DISTRICT LOOKS AT GIVING 1943 FIRE ENGINE TO HISTORICAL SOCIETY

At tonight’s 6 p.m. meeting of the Twentynine Palms Water District, directors are expected to consider a rate study, award the contract for an update to the urban water management plan, and form an ad hoc committee to look at wastewater. Then following management reports, the board will take up fire department business, including the possible transfer of the District’s 1943 Mac Fire Engine to the Twentynine Palms Historical Society. That action in anticipation of a county take over of fire service there. It all happens at the District Office on the south side of Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
