The Twentynine Palms Water District Board of Directors will hold its regular meeting 6 p.m. tonight. The meeting will open with a closed session in which the directors will discuss labor negotiations. The sole item on the action agenda is the proposal to establish a citizen’s committee to develop a special tax ballot measure for fire protection, and to select applicants to serve on the committee. The meeting will be held in the District office, 72401 Hatch Road, in Twentynine Palms.
