The Board of Directors of the Twentynine Palms Water District will gather this week and take public comments on various issues, such as water availability and the district’s Urban Water Management Plan. There will also be a discussion of the regions’ illegal marijuana grows and how that affects the water table. The meeting will also include reports from management and updates on maintenance, water quality, and finance. The board meeting will take place at district offices, 72401 Hatch Road, at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23. Residents can also view the meeting from the district’s website at 29palmswater.net.
