At tonight’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Water District, directors will receive the financial audit for fiscal 2014-15, as well as consider fees for inactive accounts, and several items aimed at moving forward construction of a third evaporation pond. Then following management reports, the board will take up Fire Department business consisting of routine matters on the consent calendar and one action item proclaiming November 1 as “Change your clock; change your battery” day. Tonight’s combined water and fire district meetings begin at 6 p.m. at the district office on the south side of Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
