TWENTYNINE PALMS WATER DISTRICT BOARD MEETS TONIGHT

In regular session tonight the Twentynine Palms Water District agenda begins with a public hearing to continue the current level of water availability assessments. They will then approve the 2015-2016 budget, as well as approve a contract to hire Ray Kolisz as general manager at a salary of $136,000 per year. The fire department will also meet; their agenda includes approval of their 2015-2016 budget and establishing appropriations limits, plus they will set the stipends and reimbursement rates for firefighters. Finally they will renew a one-year contract with Copper Mountain College for training classes for firefighters. The meeting takes place at 72401 Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms at 6 p.m.
