At tonight’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Water District the board
Will hear public comment on the District’s Urban Water Management Plan then likely follow up with a vote on adopting the amended plan. Also on the action agenda, the board is expected to authorize a plan for repayment of a low interest state loan, review the 2015/2016 audit report, and consider the costs associated with replacing Well 11; those costs are thought to be well in excess of a half million dollars. Those items and others are in addition to routine items on the consent agenda. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the District Office on the south side of Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
