TWENTYNINE PALMS WATER BOARD LOOKS AT THEIR OWN COMPENSATION TONIGHT

At tonight’s meeting of the Twentynine Palms Water District the board
is expected to consider their own stipends, currently set at $100 per meeting and limited to ten meetings per month. That item is for discussion only; any vote on the matter would come later. Also tonight, an outside consulting firm will offer directors feedback on the agency-wide response to the recent “California Shake-Out” drill. Those items and others are in addition to routine items on the consent agenda. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the District Office on the south side of Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
