In the approved budget for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, the Twentynine Palms Water District expects to see some small changes in revenue and expenditures. With water sales budgeted to increase by 7 percent, the district budget expects just above $5 million in revenue in the next year with about $4.9 million in expenses. The water district also included a 2.5 percent cost of living adjusted increase in salaries as well as other merit-based salary increases. In the end, the district is budgeted to have $79,500 in net revenues available to fund capital projects.
