The Twentynine Palms Visitor Center will soon be losing the Chamber of Commerce, though it will still be a valuable resource for locals and tourists alike. Reporter Heather Clisby has the details…
With the Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce leaving the Visitor Center location on Highway 62 for Historic Adobe Plaza, the Center will be remain open and will be operated by the City of Twentynine Palms and the Twentynine Palms Tourism Business Improvement District.
There, visitors will find park maps, brochures, lodging info, free Internet computer stations, gifts, souvenirs, local books, postcards, a community art gallery, an electric car charging station, business referrals, and helpful staff.
The Visitor Center and Art Gallery is located at 73484 Twentynine Palms Highway and, except for major holidays, is open daily from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
